3 in 1

This was made for a swap, where the theme was 3 in one, being that it had to be one piece, made up of 3 things...so I made an ATC, decorated a tag, then made a holder for them to it in. It was entirely made from card, coloured using distress inks, then rubber stamped.

Puzzle swap

A while back I took part in a puzzle swap where we all brought the same jigsaw, and decorated a piece for each person in their theme, here are my two completed puzzles before they got sent off to the host. In the top one my theme was eyes
Im the bottom one my theme was butterflies. People had such a wide range of themes, it was a really good challenge to do. The themes were travel, faces, eyes, fairytales, nursery rhymes, fairies, vintage children, oriental, textured, shabby chic, flowers, and aborigional art.

Robert

This is Robert , I know its mean to say, but I started to dislike him when I was making him....the reason? He was to be a christmas present for my mum, as she likes hand made things, and I have never knitted anything other than scarves or ever followed a knitting pattern before, so it was a challenge from the start. Christmas eve I was still frantically knitting him, but alas didn't finish (I did contemplate putting his head in a box though) So he ended up being a birthday present in January. At least my mum loves him,!!

Mariposa ~ Take flight challenge

Well as my mum has mastered the art of a blog, I thought I should maybe give it a go, even if its just to 'log' the creative stuff I make and never take pictures of....It just might force me to do it, that is if I can find the cable for the camera!!

I have recently found the art raffle, and Septembers theme was 'take flight' my entry was made using mixed media, mainly my favourite if the moment, metal. As I am learning spanish, I have used the word Mariposa which is spanish for butterfly, and the middle is fabric which I have dyed, stamped on and stiched....I had great fun making this, and quite sad to send it away.
